Norfolk House School is an independent school in Birmingham for boys and girls between 3 and 11 years of age. Each November the Sunday Times produces a list of the top independent preparatory schools in the country. It is based upon based upon Key Stage 2 SAT results and the percentage of pupils achieving a Level 5 in English and Mathematics. In November 2013 Norfolk House was ranked 45th in the list. That ranking placed it above all other listed schools of its kind in the city of Birmingham – a position it has held for 7 out of the last 8 years.
Since opening its doors at 3 Norfolk Road in 2009 the nursery has become one of the foremost providers of early education in Birmingham. In March 2012 the Independent Schools Inspectorate rated it ‘Outstanding’ in every area of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The inspectors praised its ambitious vision and the high standards it sets for itself – matters which go to the very heart of the nursery’s ethos.
