Pre-School (3 - 4 years)
Our pre-school group occupies two rooms called “Caterpillars” and “Butterflies”. The rooms are staffed by fully trained nursery nurses and are overseen by an experienced Base Room Manager. A staff-to-child ratio of 1:8 is maintained at all times.
Emphasis is placed on developing a child’s all-round skills with a view to preparing them for the next stage in their education. Our experienced Pre-school team work closely with each individual child to extend their literacy, numeracy and communication skills, and strive to instil within them a genuine love of learning and a desire to discover as much as they can about the world around them. Through media such as music, role play, singing and art our children are given the opportunity to express themselves creatively.
Whilst every child is prepared thoroughly for the transition to their school of choice, play and exploration are still essential to their development. Our team provides them with a balance of both free and focused activities which extend their learning.
