They enjoyed visiting their usual spot and pointing out landmarks and natural features they have become familiar with over the past few months. As we walked back to the nursery we experienced a very heavy downpour of rain; it was fun to see the big muddy puddles forming whilst we watched vans and cars drive past and spray the curb from a distance. Some of the children also had the opportunity to do a sensory activity in the morning, where they were asked to draw what they could hear and see outside on a windy morning. The toddlers enjoyed building a den this week and playing musical statues with the carved wooden owl; we even had a few toddlers in hysterics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>Harborne Road<\/strong> the toddlers had lots of fun in the sunshine. Lots of climbing and balancing on their makeshift bridge, stumps and see saw. We enjoyed making up impromptu songs referencing the activities and actions we were doing. They also enjoyed playing with the toy bugs and naming them.
