At Norfolk House Nursery we have been delivering Forest School activities at both our Edgbaston settings, with amazing results. Now we are super excited that the Forest School Provision will be available at our new Moseley Nursery and it will take place every Monday!
Our Forest School Tutor is a Freelance qualified Forest School Teacher. We asked her to summarise the benefits of Forest School and this is what she said: “Forest school allows children to take risks in a safe outdoor environment. It builds resilience, confidence, self initiative, gross and fine motor skills and problem solving skills. Very importantly it develops communication skills and therefore confidence among their peers.”
