Early Years Foundation Stage
The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a legal framework which all Ofsted-registered early years providers must follow.
It sets the standards which providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well; it ensures that children are kept healthy and safe; and it ensures that children have the knowledge and skills they need to start school.
