Here at Norfolk House Nursery we strive to connect with local businesses in our local community.
We like to arrange trips to the local supermarket, café and nature reserve. In the past we have established connections with our local food bank. This has enabled us to organise a food collection in nursery, inviting our children and their families to donate food that can then be distributed to families in need. After doing this we received a certificate showing how many families we had helped and how long our donations would supply the families with food. Our efforts were successful, so we’ve decided to make this a regular event! We started this week and have already received a large number of donations from our children’s families. We plan to run this for the next few weeks and will continue to update everyone involved!
