1. Can you read the story together or watch a video of the story online. Many verisions can be found on youtube. Talk through what happens in the story and the different characters.

2. During the story, Goldilocks enjoys eating baby bears porridge! Can you help to make your own porridge at home? Pre-school children could make their own recipe card following this activities to develop writing skills.

3. Younger babies may just enjoy exploring the sensory aspect of the oats. You could fill a small tray/container with oats, bowls and spoons and encourage emptying and filling and imaginative play. (All ages will love this!)

4. Have a go at some size ordering activities; Use your child’s favourite toys such as cars, dolls, building towers (anything!). Put them in order from smallest to biggest. Introduce language such as bigger, smaller, smallest, biggest etc.

5. Can you make your own Bear Craft or Mask?
