History of the School
Eighty Years in the Making…
The history of Norfolk House School goes back more than eighty years. Originally called Garry House School, it was located in Fountain Road, Edgbaston. It moved to its present location in 1964 and was re-founded in 1967 as Norfolk House School.
The School has always responded to the changing demands of society without losing sight of its ethos. The process of modernisation and updating is constant, but never done purely for its own sake. The School adopts the best practices of the present and combines them with the tried and tested ones of the past.
Over the years, the School has built a well-earned reputation as one of the leading independent preparatory schools in Birmingham and the Midlands.
