The Reception children have been immersed in an educational topic filled with exciting cross-curricular learning opportunities about the author Julia Donaldson and her fabulous stories. During an outdoor learning activity the children learnt foraging skills to search for garden materials suitable to make a Stickman family. Using their observation, imagination and creativity the children worked together to make a Stickman, a Sticklady and the Stickchildren too.
