Prepare to be Scared!
The Reception children had their very own Gruffalo trail in the garden this week. The children’s hunting skills were put to the test when they became ‘Gruffalo Spotters’.
The children used their knowledge of this well-known monster to search for natural garden materials to build a giant Gruffalo model. They collected a variety of items such as sticks, leaves, petals, conkers and coloured flowers, placing them inside an enormous outline of the Gruffalo on the lawn.
Of course the children had immense fun bringing this well-loved Julia Donaldson story to life.
