On the morning of 14th June 2019, we opened our doors and a rush of fathers flowed through school heading towards the classroom of their sons and daughters. The Daddies, or a male member of the family, had been
invited to a Dad’s Stay and Play event in celebration of Father’s Day.

This year, in the lead up to the 50-year-anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, we themed the Father’s Day event on ‘Space’ with themed activities in each class of varying degrees of complexity.

All the children had a fantastic time completing the ‘Space’ activities with their Dads, Granddads or Uncles and judging by the concentration on the Dad’s faces, they were committed to the
tasks. A fun time was had by all!

Dads, we hope you like the Father’s Day cards that the children made for you.
