Following on from a highly popular event in school last year, we have once again held our Design-A-Lunch competition which offers the pupils an opportunity to design an idea for a favourite lunch of their choice. The entries are then sent to School Council for their initial consideration and then forwarded for judging to Mr Gould, our Catering Manager.

This year, the winning entries are from Yandy Chen in Year 3 who opted for a main course to be cooked of chicken in a wrap, barbeque sauce, fries and salad and Amari Hughes in Year 5 who created a dessert idea of chocolate brownie, strawberries, sprinkles and vanilla ice cream. Many congratulations to them on their wonderful ideas which went down extremely well in school with all the pupils and the staff too! We thank them for helping out on the day by serving their friends, popping down to the kitchen to oversee the meal and some excellent ideas. Our thanks also to School Council for their support and to Mr Gould and his team who made the whole event possible.
