Raafey (Y5) loves Maths. He enjoys problems solving and will spend his own time investigating topics. He recently entered the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. This is a competition aimed at children in Year 7 and 8. Despite only being in Year 5, Raafey scored a high enough mark to progress through to the next round, the Kangaroo. He was delighted when he received the result from this round to find that he had been placed in the top 25% of this children who had sat this paper. We are all delighted with Raafey’s achievement and look forward to what he might accomplish next year!
