The pupils in Year 4 and 5 celebrated Pi Day by using string to measure circumferences and diameters to see how accurately they could calculate pi. They completed some other tasks involving this mathematical marvel.
Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π.
