This week, the children in Transition have been learning the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. We created story maps to retell the story, counted compare bears into sets as part of our Maths lessons, and learned about a variety of different bears before painting, collaging and colouring our own. The week concluded with a ‘real’ bear hunt in the Nursery garden, where the children were very excited to find our class bear ‘Bramble’ hiding in the trees!
